changing natalie wood's death certificate. the actress drowned more than 30 years ago, but a newly released report shows the coroner is amending the official cause of death for natalie wood. and it's based on bruises on her upper body. the autopsy report is revised to show that some of the bruises may have occurred before she drowned, bu not be dy determined. wood's body was found floating off catalina island in 19-81. this is the yacht she was vacationing on when she died. she was with then husband robert wagner and actor christopher walken before somehow ending up in the water. the sheriff's department says it's an open investigation but that wagner is not considered a suspect. >> jody foster is revealing that she's gay without actually saying it. >> i discover a sudden urge to say something that i never really said in public,. >> foster came out during the golden globes as she accepted the cecil b. demille lifetime achievment to clear up any doubts about her future in acting.foster said she has no plans to retire, but may do more directing.

>> pam: o-p-d says, there was also a hit-n-run on claremont. as the driver of the 6th vehicle involved in these collisions. did not bother to stick around thank goodness--it did not get worse. >> pam: meantime. a violent weekend in oakland. 15 people shot over the weekend. including five at a birthday party sunday night. sunday's shooting came. after four people were shot and killed friday. today, oakland city officials promising action. more on that part of the story ahead. but first, grant lodes is standing by with more on the outbreak of violence. grant? >> we'll break it down and map out all the shootings starting with friday. starting on firday.four shootings.all of them fatal.all over the city. three fo the four were friday afternoon. the other was 8:15 friday night. two shootings saturday. nobody died. but there were three people shot at this one location saturday afternoon.near seminary avenue and harmon street.

and then three more shootings yesterday - sunday. none fatal.but a five people were shot at this one foothill boulevard. less than a half mile from saturday's shooting in which 3 people were hit. >> pam: oakland police chief howard jordan says, rival groups are connected to some of the recent shootings in the city >> to of the recent four mortars were groups of people. these are groups of people that are involved in 90% of the violence and oakland. >> in addition to the one a rest to the oakland police department 11- illegal firearms while officers were out investigating the shootings that occurred over the weekend. confiscated firearms. >> the san francisco police department releases the sketch of a man who attacked a woman in the mission dictrict. this is a sketch of the suspect who attempted to sexually assault a 31-year old woman back on january sixth.

just before three in the morning, the woman was walking down 23rd street towards church, when a man lunged at her-- grabbing her head and throwing her to the ground. he is described as an asian or hispanic male, 25 years of age, with a buzz haircut and slight beard growth. >> pam: f-b-i agents are now in week two of a search for human remains associated with the speed freak killers. herzog are the serial kiling duo who went on a drug induced killing rampage in the 80's and 90's. kron 4's j.r. stone is following the story and joins us with more on the search for victim remains. >> we are seven days into this search and the fbi is still doing prep work. i just got off the phone with some of the insiders in this case and they tell me that they are hoping to actually start searching for bones next week. keep in mind there have been a number of setbacks here. this is video from last week showing this search and the prep work that is still going on. last week the fbi announced that

the well has a natural depth of 200 feet but they can't find the current bottom of this well so that means more prep work before they start sifting. prep work was originally going to take a couple days. that though has changed because the bottom of this well could be four times what the fbi originally thought it was. death row inmate wesley shermantine has said for sometime that victims can be found inside this abandoned well. he claims they are victims of his late partner in crime loren herzog. crews have put a camera down into this well but so far it has not helped them. but again, the hope here is to start hand sifting for remains next monday. j.r. stone kron 4 news. >> pam: the flu outbreak now being called an epidemic in the u-s. the centers for disease control and prevention says 47 states are now reporting widespread flu activity. officials say part of the severity of a flu season depends on what strain circulates. part depends on how many get vaccinated. we have had

what works." >> catherine: this wasn't one of those government groups that takes forever to do something. the president's task force has had about a week - and will present some detailed recommendations over the next couple of days. >> pam: president obama is telling congress to act quickly to raise the country's 16-trillion dollar debt limit. warning that social security checks would be delayed if the nation's borrowing authority isn't extended. >> we are not a dead beat the nation. so there is a very simple solution to this. congress authorizes this to pay our bills. if the house and the senate wanted to give me the authority so they do not have to take these difficult votes. if they want to put the responsibility on me to raise the debt ceiling i'm happy to do it. >> pam: the president is also warning republicans to not insist on spending cuts in exchange for rasing the debt limit. the government could run out of money and shut down in
